Job Description:
This role is responsible for the execution of customer investment strategy through the evaluation of trade promotion tactics and building optimization recommendations.This role will leverage existing shopper/consumer insights on price & promotions assigned per customer/channel to deliver selling stories for optimization activities.The purpose for this position is to support our stakeholders on gaining better understanding on how they invest today and where they need to shift investments tomorrow in order to deliver better revenue for customers, consumers, and the business.What are we looking for?Professional Degree in Business, Economics, Administration or equivalent.1+Years professional experience working with leading multi- functional teams for Fast Moving Consumer Good IndustriesFamiliarity with customer base and working knowledge of retail merchandising and in store execution tactics is a nice to have.Strong knowledge of syndicated data (e.g. IRI, Nielsen) and its nuancesMust be skilled with turning insights into opportunities & translating them into actionable.Technical knowledge skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, SAP knowledge would be a nice to have).Availability to travel 20% of time is needed.What will be your key responsibilities?Identify and evaluate promotion optimization opportunitiesPartner with Trade Promotion Managers and Team Lead, to drive profitable sales and share growth across the U.S. for assigned channelExecute complex and comprehensive analyses to support the development of channel-level and customer-level promotional strategies that achieve sales, share, and profitability objectivesfacilitate strategic conversations with internal Sales Directors and retailers (including customer reviews and top to top meetings) to evaluate tradeoffs and commercialize opportunitiesWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.A strong focus on learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.Perfect Store Coordinator · wd3:mars:external
