WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON​

What you will focus on

Design and ensure minor game features are implemented well. Maintain and improve existing features in game based on data and feedback.

What it means on a daily basis​

  • Design and improve small features under guidance from a senior/lead Game Designer; write and maintain game design documents (GDDs) in Confluence.
  • Implement and present new features.
  • Tweak feature parameters and fix design bugs using the project's toolsets and JIRA.
  • Review game builds and adjust features during implementation.
  • Track localization for new in-game text.
  • Join brainstorming and check-in meetings; stay current on toolsets, market trends, and platform knowledge.

What success will look like

  • Deliver GDDs on time, with visual aids, aligned to game direction.
  • Resolve design bugs and deliver features on schedule, with text localized before release.
  • Contribute actively in brainstorming sessions, keep GDDs current, and clear all assigned JIRA bugs.
  • Complete learning that supports current responsibilities

​Who you would be working with

  • Reports to the Studio Game Design Lead/Project Lead Game Designer and relevant producers.
  • Works daily with Game Designers, Artists, and Programmers to implement and tune features.
  • Collaborates with Game Economy Design (GED) on systems, difficulty, and learning curve.
  • Collaborates with UI/UX Game Designers to improve UX and flow.

Where can this role take you?

  • Entry point into the Game Design career path, progressing to Junior 2, Senior, and Lead as scope grows.
  • Advance into focused roles such as UI/UX Game Designer, Technical Game Designer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED​

  • Basic understanding of game mechanics, level design, and UI/UX for mobile games.
  • Basic game balancing skills.
  • Able to write clear GDDs and wireframes.
  • Basic scripting literacy is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Unity, Unreal, Figma, Confluence, and JIRA is a plus.

  • Open-minded, fast learner, open to feedback.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English.
