West Region Director of Parts Responsibilities: Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet themHires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of the Parts departmentPrepares and administers an annual operating budget for the Parts departmentMaintains reporting systems required by management and the factoryMonitors the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveysUnderstands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect Parts operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-KnowEnsures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy proceduresAccounts for documents; ensures none are missing and are processed correctlyFosters professional employee development and coordinates with department managers to determine training needsEstablish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral businessServes as liaison with factory representativesDevelop and maintain pricing guides and coordinate the usage throughout the Parts organizationHandles customer complaints immediately and per company’s guidelinesEstablishes and maintains 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with the Parts experienceEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with other departmentsFacilitates and/or conducts training on proper techniques, policies, regulations, and best practices and recommends employees to appropriate training as neededUnderstands and follows work rules and proceduresFollows attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standards including recording time of arrival, departure and breaks for self and subordinatesFollows lawful directions from supervisorsFollows the Company Code of Business Ethics and ConductUpholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreementsAttends company meetings as requiredMaintains a professional appearance and a neat work area for self and subordinates in accordance with company policyOther duties as assigned West Region Director of Parts Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.3 - 5 years of Parts experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.2-3 years manager experience   INDEED-PARTSReady to Join?Apply now to learn more about what Premier Truck Group has to offer!
