Contract Loading Associate

As a Contract Loading Associate, you will provide administrative support to the global commercial contracting teams, ensuring the efficient and accurate entry of supplier contract information into the company database systems within agreed service levels. Working within the Contracting Operations Team, this is an entry-level role central to keeping contract data accurate and available for sale.
You will bring a strong eye for detail, work independently, and follow established processes and procedures to deliver excellent, error-free loading.
In this role you will:
Key responsibilities
Contract loading: enter new supplier contracts for sale and process updates and amendments to existing contracts accurately within the company database systems.
Cost calculation: calculate cost rates using basic mathematics.
Accuracy and self-checking: self-check all work entered, aiming for a zero-error rate and maintaining the highest standard of accuracy.
Service levels: meet all turnaround times in line with department SLAs.
Process compliance: follow department processes and procedures at all times.
Query resolution: raise queries where contract details appear incorrect or deviate from agreed processes, and liaise with internal Contract Managers by phone or email to resolve all contract-related queries.
Supplier support: assist supplier partners with their requests promptly and in a polite, professional manner.
Continuous improvement: provide feedback on any blockages identified within your day-to-day workflow.
Reporting: accurately complete any reports required across the department.
Team support: offer general support to other team members and to other departments when needed.
Learning and development: attend presentations and training as required to strengthen your knowledge and skills.
Task and target delivery: complete all tasks allocated by the Team Leader or Department Manager and achieve the targets and objectives set on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.

Experience working in a data entry or administration environment (preferable).
A travel industry or hotel background (beneficial).
Accuracy, research skills, and strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-working skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Adaptable to changes in day-to-day tasks and procedures.
Confident to ask questions and seek clarification, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Fluency in spoken and written English (required).
Amenable to hybrid working and a shifting schedule.
