Leverage yourexpertise in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, private credit, investment banking, projectdevelopment or commercial lending to originate, structure, negotiate and manage complex project finance transactions focused on Canadian agri-food processing,manufacturing and production projects.Â
As a Director, Project Finance,you’ll lead project finance opportunities frominitial prospecting through closing while managing key relationships with sponsors, developers, investors, lenders,advisors and industry stakeholders. Your strong transactionstructuring and negotiationexpertise will enable you to lead due diligence, pricing,approvals and execution activities while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.Â

Whatyou’ll doÂ
Originate and lead project finance opportunities frominitial prospecting through closingÂ
Play a leading role inestablishing and growing a new team and capital deployment capability Â
Develop relationships with project sponsors, developers, investors, lenders,advisors and industry stakeholdersÂ
Lead due diligence, transaction structuring,pricing and negotiation activitiesÂ
Sponsor and present credit recommendations through approval processesÂ
Oversee transaction execution and coordinate internal and external stakeholdersÂ
Manage and grow a portfolio of project financeloan facilitiesÂ
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and lending teamsÂ
Contribute to underwriting standards, marketstrategy and capability developmentÂ
Whatyou’ll bring to the teamÂ
Required qualifications:Â
A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting,commerce or a related subjectÂ
Minimum 10 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, private credit, investment banking, projectdevelopment orcomplexcommercial lending (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Â
Extensive knowledge of project finance, infrastructure finance, creditrisk and portfolio oversightÂ
Provenexpertise in transaction structuring,syndications and negotiationsÂ
Demonstratedproficiency in stakeholder management and complex transaction execution
Preferred qualifications:Â
MBA,CFA or advanced finance qualificationÂ
Bilingualism (French and English) is an assetÂ
