Safety / EHS Engineer – Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) & Substation – UAE (L1)

We are looking for experiencedSafety / EHS Engineers forhigh-voltage transmission line and substation projects in the UAE. Candidates with prior approvals or direct experience withDEWA, TRANSCO, or TAQA will be given preference.

Job Title: Safety / EHS Engineer
Location: UAE (On-Site)
Industry: Transmission Lines / Substation Projects
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Joining: Within 30–60 Days (Immediate Joiners Preferred)
Certification: NEBOSH Certified (Mandatory)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) with regular college is must

• NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)

• 5–10 years of proven experience in EHS roles

• Hands-on experience inOverhead Transmission Lines (220kV / 400kV / 765kV) and/or Substation Projects

• PriorDEWA / TRANSCO / TAQA approval or work experience is Must

• Valid passport with at least 9 months validity

• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans

• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations

• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments

• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies

• Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance
