About the Role
Â
The HR Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support for plant employees through the administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role serves as a key employee resource, supporting employee engagement, benefits administration, leave management, payroll-related activities, compliance, and employee recordkeeping. The HR Generalist partners with employees and management to promote a positive workplace experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

How You Will Make an Impact
Â
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related inquiries and directing employees to appropriate resources as needed.
- Administer and support a broad range of human resources programs and services, including talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance initiatives.
- Coordinate and administer leave of absence programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, and short-term and long-term disability programs.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Process employee lifecycle transactions and maintainaccurate personnel records, including recruiting, onboarding, attendance, leave, and paid time off information.
- Generate, analyze, and maintain reports related to payroll, employee incentives, benefits, attendance, and other HR metrics.
- Participate in HR projects, audits, process improvement initiatives, and other activities that support business and organizational objectives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Â

The Essentials
- Associate’s degreeor equivalent professional qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in human resources; experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Experience working with Dayforce or other HRIS is a plus
- Must be self-motivated with outstanding decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and good time management skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skillsÂ
