As a Purchasing Retail Receiving Clerk, you will manage inbound deliveries, inspect high-end retail and operating goods, and maintain precise inventory records to uphold five-star Broadmoor standards.Learn more about Broadmoor here.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming retail, merchandise, and operating supplies against approved purchase orders and packing slips. Verify exact counts, high-end product specifications, and pricing integrity.
• Refuse, document, and immediately process returns for damaged, defective, or incorrect luxury items.
• Accurately enter receiving and inventory data into procurement platforms or Broadmoor systems.
• Use track IT system to maintain delivery logs and obtain proof of delivery signatures.
• Coordinate the safe and timely movement of goods from the receiving dock to retail stores, guest services, and internal departments.
• Maintain a list of received items with no PO’s and send them to retail buyers regularly.
• Assist with month-end physical inventory counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation. Maintain a clean, secure, and OSHA-compliant loading dock and storage facility.
• Act as a point of contact for vendors and delivery drivers; assist Accounts Payable by resolving invoice discrepancies and matching receiving documents.
• Process all paperwork in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment of vendor invoices.
• Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
• Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
• Previous experience in high-volume purchasing, warehousing, inventory control, or hospitality receiving is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as this role may involve transporting equipment across the Resort. Please note that all employees operating Broadmoor vehicles must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication. Familiarity with automated hotel inventory or procurement software.
• A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
• Flexible schedule: including early mornings, weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
