The Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting packaging operations in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner while maintaining product quality, accurate documentation, inventory accuracy, and regulatory requirements. This role works collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments to achieve production goals in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow all Good Production Practices (GPP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and regulatory requirements, including compliance with the Cannabis Act.Â
- Perform packaging activities safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining product quality and meeting production targets.Â
- Complete line clearances, reconciliations, in-process quality checks, and all required documentation accurately and on time.Â
- Maintain accurate production records to support product traceability, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.Â
- Utilize computers and electronic systems to complete production documentation, access work instructions, record production information, and support daily operations.Â
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records using company inventory management systems.Â
- Verify materials, components, and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy and product traceability.Â
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment through proper cleaning, sanitation, material handling, and waste disposal practices.Â
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure product integrity, consistency, and compliance with quality standards.Â
- Identify and communicate safety, quality, inventory, process, or production concerns in a timely manner and support efforts to resolve issues.Â
- Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments to achieve production goals while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.Â
- Adapt to changing priorities and support multiple products, processes, and production areas as required.Â
- Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, workplace organization, and operational excellence initiatives.Â
- Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and productivity expectations.Â

Qualifications & SkillsÂ
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, packaging, production, or warehouse environment is considered an asset.Â
- Previous machine operation considered an asset
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Â
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Â
- Comfortable using computers, production software, and electronic documentation systems.Â
- Experience with inventory management, ERP, warehouse, or inventory tracking systems is an asset.Â
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.Â
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Â
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Â
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.Â
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.Â
- Familiarity with GPP, quality systems, and regulated manufacturing environments is an asset.Â
