Deli Manager

We are hiring for a Full-Time Deli Manager with a wage range of $45,000 - $60,000 at our location in Hinton Valley, AB.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts

• Schedule Deli and Hospitality Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met

• Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed

• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team

• Train, develop, and motivate Deli and Hospitality Team Members

• Resolve customer and Deli Department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience

• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area

• Assist the Catering Team with in-store catering events and preparation

• Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth

• Providing an exceptional customer experience

What you Bring: 

• 2 years minimum of progressive restaurant or food-retail management experience

• A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a deli or restaurant environment

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs

• Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills

• A passion for leading and developing others

• Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills

• Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)

• Knowledge of the principles of food preparation and food safety regulations

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
