Pharmacist

We are hiring for a Full-Time Pharmacist with a wage range of $70.00 - $80.00 at our location in Drumheller, AB.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day pharmacy operations in an accurate and timely manner

  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage

  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products

  • Dispense prescribed pharmaceutical products

  • Advise patients on the administration, uses, and effects of medication

  • Maintain patient profiles

  • Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products

  • Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area

• Providing an exceptional customer experience

What you Bring: 

• Pharmacist registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy and in good standing

• Strong organizational, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Comfortable working during peak pharmacy hours including daytime and weekends

• Injection certification is an asset

• Prior experience as a pharmacist is an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
