Job Summary
TheAccount Manager I, Locums Staffing is responsible for managing and growing client relationships while ensuring successful delivery of locum tenens physicians and advanced practice providers to healthcare facilities nationwide. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, driving client retention, fill rate, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction through consultative account management, workforce planning, and proactive communication. The Account Manager partners closely with recruiting teams to align provider supply with client demand and ensure successful assignment outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages a portfolio of healthcare facility accounts and serves as the primary point of contact for client staffing needs.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key client stakeholders through consistent communication and consultative support.
- Partners with recruiting teams to ensure timely submission and placement of qualified locum tenens physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Facilitates assignment start processes, including confirming staffing details, onboarding requirements, credentialing milestones, and start dates.
- Monitors open opportunities and develops strategies to improve fill rates, client retention, and overall account performance.
- Communicates regularly with clients and providers throughout assignments to ensure successful engagements and address any concerns proactively.
- Researches and resolves client or provider issues that may arise during an assignment in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Maintains accurate documentation of client interactions, job orders, and assignment activity within company systems.
- Identifies opportunities for account expansion, increased utilization, and long-term partnership growth.
- Assists with special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- Associate's Degree plus 0-2 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 2-4 years of work experience.
Additional Experience
- Experience in account management, staffing, recruiting, sales, customer success, or healthcare workforce solutions.
- Previous experience supporting healthcare clients, physicians, advanced practice providers, or contingent workforce programs preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing client relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and achieving performance goals.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively use technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, support decision-making, and enhance business outcomes while adhering to company policies and responsible AI practices.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$40,000 - $50,000 SalaryFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
