TheStore Specialist will performvariousstoreroom operations toensure accuracy ininventorymovements, including receipts. They will coordinateswith theirdirectsupervisor toidentify anddisposeofobsoletematerials inaccordancewithCompanyPolicy ensuringmaterials aremaintained inproperlocations andstoreroom facilities areclean andwellmaintained.

Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Storeroom Supervisor has primary responsibility for the following duties, and the Stores Specialist follows the lead of the Storeroom Supervisor:

    • Ensuresadequatesuppliesofmaterials are readilyavailable tosupport factoryoperations.

    • Performsvariousstoreroom operations toensureaccuracy ininventorymovements,including receipts,issues, andcycle counts.

    • Evaluatesinventory andconsumptionlevelstoreduceoverstockmaterials.

    • Coordinateswithdirectsupervisor toidentify anddisposeofobsoletematerials inaccordancewith CompanyPolicy.

  • Entersreceipts,issuesand returns into SAP in atimely andaccuratemanner.

  • EntersSAPInventoryAdjustments asnecessary.

  • RunsandreviewsReceivingReportdaily forcompleteness and use inreceivingofitems.

  • Responsible forfollowing andadministeringstoreroomsecurity proceduresandpolicies asdirected.

  • Operates a forklift asneeded.

  • Runscycle countreportand countsstoreroomitems according tocyclecount schedule.

  • Assists in training newstoreroomemployees.

  • RunsStoreroomReorderreportandreviews forreorderwithinestablishedpurchasing guidelines andprocedures.

  • Coordinatesactivitieswithdirectsupervisor.

  • Initiatesmaintenancework requests.

  • Tagsinventory andstock shelves.

  • Performs storeroom sanitationandcleaningactivities.

  • Assistswithreceiving process.

  • KittingofWorkOrders.

  • Processesinventory returns.

  • Coordinatesoutbound truck shipments.

  • Loadsandunloadstrucks.

  • Identifiesandlocatesstoreroom items inSAP MM System.

  • Participates inreviewofobsoleteinventoryandproperstocking levels.

  • Ensuresinventory items aremaintained intheappropriate mannerandanypreventativemaintenance isperformed onstoreroom equipment as required.

  • Performsotherduties asassigned and required toworkovertime asnecessary.

Job Requirements:

  • High Schooldiplomaor a GEDcertificate isrequired.

  • It ispreferredthatemployee musthave a twoyear associate’sdegree inaccounting,engineering, partsmanagement, businessmanagement orrelated field. It ispreferredthatemployeehaveequivalentwork historyoftwoyearsexperience inpartsmanagement,purchasing,inventorymanagement oraccountingpositionswill be evaluatedprovidedtheemployeecansuccessfullydemonstratecompetency at the endof thetrialperiod.

  • Must befamiliarwith personalcomputersandunderstandthefunctionality andoperationof all facetsoftheinventorymanagement,purchasing,information,processindustry,maintenanceandphysicalinventorymodulesof ACSCbusiness system.

  • Musthavedemonstratedknowledgeofproperprocedures forshipping,receiving, andissuingmaterials.

  • KnowledgeofMicrosoft Windows,MicrosoftExcel andWordsoftware isrequired.

  • Mustdemonstrateknowledge of ACSCcatalogingandpartsnumbering systems.

  • Must be able toidentify andlocatestoreroomitemsinSAP MM System.

  • Demonstratedworkingknowledgeofmaterials ininventory andused inthefactory.  Must beableto identifyalternates to partsrequired bymaintenance.

  • Mustunderstandfactory chemicalmanagementprogram.

  • Demonstratedeffectiveverbalandwrittencommunicationsskills,and must be able tointeractwith awiderangeof ACSCemployeesandsuppliers.

  • Must be able tobecomecertified andsafely andeffectively operate aforkliftand possess a validdriver’s license.

  • Must be able toreference,read andunderstand how touse MSDSinformation.

Compensation Range:

$25.57 - $25.57 /hr
