Due to the location of this co-op placement, full drivers licence/your own form of transport is highly recommended.

This role will be based in ourMacroom, Corksite.

Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker’s 2027Cooperative cohort.

Tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify aFinance improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluation.

  • Involvement infinancial month end process (posting journals, reporting, liaising with our shared service center etc).

  • Input intobudgeting process through taking responsibility for budget inputs, working with the business to set the appropriate budgets and projections, and holding others accountable for performance against targets.

  • Forecasting on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.

  • Assist the team in thetracking of capital spent andmonitoring site spend and inventory movements.

  • Support compliance and internal/externalaudit activities.

What you will need:

  • Currently enrolled in a university course inFinance, Accounting, Economics, Business or other related courses for the duration of the placement.

  • Honesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policies.

  • Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking - enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment.

  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual.

  • Organised, focused, and capable ofmulti-tasking.

  • Goodanalytical andproblem-solving skills.

  • Good verbal and writtencommunication skills with a basic level of PC skills.

  • Is ateam player and capable of working as part of amulti-disciplined team.

  • Available for either6, 9 or 12 months – exact duration and start date to be discussed with your Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Stryker.
