Job Purpose

The Process Control System Engineer will be responsible formaintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing process control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role includes providing technical support for automation systems and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimizeprocess control systems to improve plant efficiency and reliability.

• Provide technical support forDistributed Control Systems (DCS), PLC, and SCADA systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolvecontrol system issues affecting plant operations.

• Conductsystem performance analysis and optimization to improve operational efficiency.

• Participate infailure analysis and root cause investigations for process control system issues.

• Ensure all systems comply withindustry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

• Collaborate withoperations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system reliability.

• Support implementation ofautomation upgrades and system improvements.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree inElectrical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Control Systems Engineering or related field.

Experience:
Minimum8–10 years of experience inProcess Control Systems, preferably inOil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industry.

Technical Skills

• Experience withDCS, PLC, and SCADA systems

• Knowledge ofprocess automation and control systems

• Experience introubleshooting and system optimization

• Understanding ofinstrumentation and control engineering standards
