Civil Design Engineer (Substation) | Gurgaon / Mumbai

We are hiringCivil Design Engineers (Substation) for a leading EPC and Infrastructure organization engaged in Power Transmission & Distribution projects across India and overseas.

Position: Civil Design Engineer – Substation (AIS/GIS)

Locations: Gurgaon & Mumbai

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

• M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering (Preferred)

• Regular Full-Time Education is mandatory

• 10–15 years of experience in Civil/Structural Design forAIS/GIS Substation Projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review structural design calculations forAIS/GIS Substations.

• Design and reviewequipment foundations, gantry structures, cable trenches, retaining walls, control/GIS buildings, and other substation civil works.

• Review geotechnical investigation reports and coordinate with geotechnical consultants.

• Prepare BOQs for civil and structural works during pre-bid and detailed engineering.

• Review structural and fabrication drawings submitted by vendors/fabricators.

• Coordinate with project execution, site, and client teams to resolve design-related queries.

• Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.

• Ensure designs comply withIS Codes, Euro Codes, American Codes, and international utility standards.

• Performseismic analysis and structural detailing for substations and associated structures.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong expertise inSTAAD.Pro andMS Excel (Mandatory)

• Experience inCivil & Structural Design of 132kV–765kV AIS/GIS Substations

• Strong knowledge offoundation design, steel structures, RCC structures, seismic design, and geotechnical engineering

• Experience working oninternational EPC projects will be an added advantage.
