Ruby on Rails Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with the team to ensure effective delivery.
• Take responsibility for team-level technical decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Identify and implement software development best practices to improve team productivity and product quality.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
• Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes based on changing business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and enhance software components using Ruby on Rails.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to develop scalable, high-performing, and maintainable software solutions.

Educational Qualification

• 15 years of full-time education.

Additional Information

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails is required.
• English proficiency is sufficient; there is no specific language constraint.
