Operations Center Receptionist

With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This position will serve as an embedded staff member supporting the FDOT Tallahassee Operations Center. The Receptionist will provide front-desk support by greeting and directing visitors, managing incoming and outgoing calls, and assisting with general administrative and office support activities to help ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Operations Center.
What You’ll Do:
- Operates a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing local and long distance calls.
- Receives incoming phone calls, secures necessary information and transfers to appropriate party.
- Takes and relays messages as necessary. Provides information to callers as appropriate.
- Performs incidental typing and/or routine clerical work as assigned. May schedule the use of conference rooms and other firm resources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
What We Prefer:
- 1-2 years of receptionist experience
- Good communication and organization skills
