Work Flexibility: Onsite

This role will be based in one of ourCork sites.

Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker’s2027Cooperative cohort.

The Customer Experience & Events role at Stryker Springhill is key in supporting the site’s strategic priorities by planning and delivering high-quality meetings, events, and site visits. Partnering with Senior Leadership and cross-functional groups e.g. Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, Quality etc. to create engaging, well-executed experiences that reflect Stryker’s brand, strengthen customer and internal relationships, and enable effective collaboration across the business.

Tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Support the planning and execution of leadership meetings and key site events.

  • Assist in coordinating customer engagement programmes and internal/external site visits.

  • Partner with teams such as the CI team to organise logistics for workshops (scheduling, travel, catering etc).

  • Provide general office administration support, including raising purchase orders (POs), processing and tracking invoices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day purchasing and payment administration.

  • Contribute to communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Assist in gathering and analysing event feedback to improve future experiences.

  • Research industry trends and best practices in customer experience and event management.

  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition programmes, and site-wide initiatives designed to enhance the employee experience.

  • Assist with the administration and coordination of the Monthly and Quarterly Champion programmes, including nominations, communications, presentation materials, and event logistics.

  • Provide meeting coordination support, including room bookings, catering arrangements, room readiness, and visitor support.

  • Attend meetings and workshops as required, accurately capturing meeting minutes, action items, and key decisions, and following up on actions where appropriate.

  • Support Talent Development and employee learning initiatives through the coordination of workshops, training sessions, and development programmes.

  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, agendas, newsletters, engagement communications, and post-event follow-up materials.

  • Provide general office and administrative support including calendar management, reporting, document preparation, and meeting scheduling.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engagement, communication, and workplace experience.

What you will need:

  • Enrolled in a relevant Irish or Northern Irish university course or other related courses for the duration of the placement.

  • Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and meeting documentation.

  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset and enthusiasm for creating engaging experiences.

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organisation.

  • Interest in event management, communications, employee engagement, project coordination, or talent development.

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Canva and other collaboration and creative tools would be an advantage.
