An exciting opportunity is available for aĀ Learning Experience Design SpecialistĀ to join our global learning servicesĀ delivery teamĀ and play a key role in shaping how colleagues build skills and capabilities for the future.Ā YouāllĀ design and develop engaging digital learning experiences using AI-powered tools and modern authoring platforms, helpĀ maintainĀ our learning ecosystem and support our growing community of ādo-it-yourselfā content creators and editors across the business.Ā
What you will be doing
- Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences (e-learning, microlearning, video-based learning, toolkits and more) that help colleagues perform and grow.Ā
- Own small to medium learning solutions end-to-end ā from early ideas and storyboards through to build, testing,Ā launchĀ and continuous improvement.Ā
- Use AI-powered content tools (especially Sana Learn) and modern authoring platforms (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Rise 360,Ā Elucidat,Ā iSpringĀ Suite) to create high-quality learning at speed.Ā
- Apply instructional design and adult learning principles so solutions are practical, just-in-time and embedded in real work.Ā
- Ensure all outputs ā including those created by other content creators ā meet agreed design, brand, accessibility and technical standards through quality checks and reviews.Ā
- Shape the learner experience onĀ our corporate intranet site (Leatro Engine Room) and in Workday Learning, keeping structures,Ā pagesĀ and catalogues clear, on-brand and easy to navigate.Ā
- Support and enable our Sana creator and LeatroĀ Engine Room editor communities by onboarding and coaching new creators/editors, answering questions and sharing good practice.Ā
- Use feedback and data to refine learning experiences and contribute ideas to improve our tools,Ā templatesĀ and ways of working.Ā
What you will need:
- A strongĀ eye for design and user experienceĀ ā able to make learning look and feel modern,Ā clearĀ and engaging (e.g. through layout, typography, imagery, interaction).Ā
- Some relevant experience creating digital experiences or content (through a first role, internship, placement, freelanceĀ workĀ or substantial personal projects) in areas such as:Ā Ā
- Digital learning / e-learningĀ
- Web design / web content managementĀ
- Graphic design, multimedia,Ā videoĀ or motion designĀ
- UX / UI or interactive mediaĀ
- Genuine enthusiasm forĀ AI and its potential in creative and learning work, with examples of how you currently use (or are experimenting with) AI tools.Ā
- Basic understanding of how adults learn and what makes learning effective (a formal L&D background is not essential).Ā
- Comfort working end-to-end on small to medium digital products, from early concept sketches through to build,Ā testingĀ and release.Ā
- Strong digital literacy and the ability to learn new tools quickly.Ā
- Good written and visual communication skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.Ā
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, delivering to agreed timelines.Ā
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) able to collaborate and create learning content in a global environment.Ā
- Fluent in German (min C1) to support German-speaking stakeholders and learners.Ā
- Degree, vocationalĀ qualificationĀ or equivalent experience in a relevant area (e.g. design, media, communication, digital, education, psychology, technology, or similar).Ā

- Experience with SharePoint or intranet site/page design (beyond basic content editing), including structure,Ā navigationĀ and page layout.Ā
- Experience using or administering Workday Learning or another enterprise LMS/LXP.Ā
- Some familiarity with HTML/CSS or web design principles.Ā
- Experience producing or editing video,Ā animationsĀ or motion graphics.Ā
- Understanding of digital learning standards (e.g. SCORM,Ā xAPI) and accessibility best practices.Ā
- A portfolio or examples of digital work (learning, web,Ā mediaĀ or UX) that show your design skills, creativity and thinking.Ā
