Strategist
from 🇬🇧 United Kingdom
Rock Kitchen Harris has been proudly independent since 1982. Like our emblem, the hummingbird, our independence defines us. No flock. No parent group. We're employee owned.
We’re building our futures, protecting our legacy for our colleagues and our clients. We believe authentic independence is a serious differentiator. In a climate of consolidation, acquisition and margin pressure, most agencies are building toward an exit. We’re not. No exit horizon. No group reporting line. No acquisition strategy. We're building for future growth + longevity. Our mission is to make work that makes a difference. Over forty years of human connection and creative thinking, applied to real problems, for real brands, with real passion. We embrace the new, different, weird and the wonderful without hesitation. To have fun and deliver serious results.
As a Strategist, you’ll join a growing team and help shape effective brand communications work for clients, with a particular focus on house builder brands. This is a role for someone who can turn business challenges, audience understanding and research into clear strategic direction, while contributing meaningfully to both client thinking and the creative process.

There is a real buzz, excitement and a family feel about our agency and all 70 of us are passionate about what we do.
As a fully remote agency, working from home (or wherever else you fancy), is our standard but our team spirit and strong culture shines through. We frequently organise meetups to get together, share pictures of our pets and kids, and have that all important face time with colleagues and friends.
Above all, after a fulfilling day’s work, people log off with a smile on their face. Looking after each other is what we’re really proud of.
But, this is a job ad and we get how it needs to work. Other benefits include:
- Flexibility to work remotely
- 20 days annual leave and 8 days national bank holidays plus extra time around Christmas (based on full time working hours)
- Your birthday off
- Time off to volunteer for local charities to make a difference
- A big good old messy Christmas party and a mid-year summer party (all expenses paid)
- Whatever computer, software, books and other materials you might need
- A healthy budget for whatever training, conferences, and other qualifications you might be interested in taking
- Regular team social activities - think crazy golf, bowling, going out for drinks and a curry
