The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospitalremains clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms. 

The Environmental Services Technician Iis responsible for executing the daily duties required toestablishandmaintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assignedtasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact mayinclude physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should beappropriate to the specificdemographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuringtimely room turnsrelated to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.The environmental services technician,in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is anessential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infectionprevention and patient experience. 

Job Description:

• Responsible for ensuringtimely room turns related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.  

• The Environmental Services Technician,in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infectionprevention, and patient experience. 

Requirements:  

• Environmental Services, Customer Service, or Hospitality experience preferred
