We are seeking ahighly motivated and detail-oriented Tendering Engineer / Tender Manager to lead the end-to-end tendering process forinternational EHV transmission line projects (132kV to 765kV). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inmultilateral-funded projects and a strong understanding ofinternational tendering practices. This role requires cross-functional coordination, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage large-scale tender submissions under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage thecomplete tendering process from initiation to submission forEHV transmission line projects.

• Analyzetender documents, understand client requirements, and developcompliant and competitive bid strategies.

• Collaborate withengineering, commercial, procurement, and legal teams to gather inputs for comprehensivetechno-commercial bids.

• PrepareBOQs,cost estimates, andtechnical/commercial proposals in line with tender requirements.

• Develop and maintaincomplex spreadsheets and pricing models usingMS Excel / Advanced Excel.

• Evaluate tenders from atechnical and commercial perspective, identifyingrisks, opportunities, and deviations.

• Ensure allbid documents are accurately compiled, formatted, and submittedwithin deadlines.

• Coordinate withinternal stakeholders, OEMs, subcontractors, andclients to gather necessary information and clarify technical queries.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships withclients, contractors, funding agencies, andkey suppliers.

• Stay updated withinternational bidding standards, especially for projects funded bymultilateral development banks (e.g., World Bank, ADB, AfDB).

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum5 years of experience intendering for EHV transmission lines (132kV to 765kV).

• Strong knowledge of international tendering procedures, including those funded bymultilateral agencies.

• Proficiency inMS Office, especiallyExcel (Advanced level), Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellentanalytical,problem-solving, andwritten/verbal communication skills.

• Experience in preparingtechno-commercial proposals fortransmission EPC projects.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines withattention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge ofFIDIC contracts or international contracting standards is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience withmultilateral-funded infrastructure projects (e.g.,World Bank,ADB, etc.).

• Familiarity withinternational clients andutilities inAfrica, Middle East, or South Asia.

• Exposure toengineering design coordination orcosting of transmission line components is advantageous.
