Role OverviewÂ
The Patient Engagement Specialist is a frontline role responsible for connecting eligible members and referred patients to RightMove’s virtual MSK care. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and will support outreach, education, eligibility verification, and scheduling of initial clinical evaluations.  Â
As an early-stage startup, we are looking for someone who is adaptable, patient-focused, and excited to help build and refine processes while delivering excellent patient experience. This position is part-time with the potential to transition to full-time. Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Conduct outbound phone outreach to eligible members and referred patientsÂ
- Answer inbound calls and respond to patient questions about RightMove servicesÂ
- Educate patients on available care options and next stepsÂ
- Verify eligibility and schedule initial evaluationsÂ
- Accurately document all patient interactions in CRM systemsÂ
- Escalate or route complex issues to appropriate internal teamsÂ
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, outreach effectiveness, and patient experienceÂ
Day-to-DayÂ
- Make outbound calls to introduce RightMove servicesÂ
- Support referred patients through onboarding and schedulingÂ
- Provide real-time patient support via inbound callsÂ
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentationÂ
- Operate in accordance with HIPAA and all applicable compliance requirementsÂ
QualificationsÂ
Required:Â
- High school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred)Â
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare customer service, patient engagement, scheduling, or call center environmentsÂ
- Strong verbal communication skills and comfort with phone-based outreachÂ
- Ability to explain healthcare services clearly and compassionatelyÂ
- Experience using CRM, scheduling, or documentation toolsÂ
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitaskÂ
Preferred:Â
- Experience in telehealth, digital health, MSK care, or physical therapyÂ
- Familiarity with insurance eligibility and benefit navigationÂ
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plusÂ
