Job Title: Recruiter / HR Coordinator

Location: South Africa

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

A motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter / HR Coordinator is sought to support recruitment and human resources operations within a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hiring processes, coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining employee records, and supporting day-to-day HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for healthcare and administrative positions
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates through various recruitment channels
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with hiring managers and candidates
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate records
  • Post and manage job advertisements across recruitment platforms
  • Support onboarding and employee documentation processes
  • Assist with HR administration, employee records, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate communication between employees, management, and HR teams
  • Track recruitment metrics and hiring progress
  • Support employee engagement and HR operational initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment and HR coordination.
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment or healthcare administration preferred
  • Software experience required: Indeed and similar recruitment platforms
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR software preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup
  • Experience working with US-based teams or healthcare systems is an advantage
