Location: Remote (South Africa) - Working US Hours (9 am - 5 pm EST)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Paid in South African Rand (ZAR)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter with a strong background in locum and temporary healthcare staffing. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and placing healthcare professionals in fast-paced, high-volume environments, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and urgent staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, caregivers, and other clinical staff.
  • Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and maintain a steady flow of candidates.
  • Coordinate urgent and shift-based placements to meet client staffing requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and candidate assessments.
  • Verify licenses, certifications, credentials, and other compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful placements.
  • Monitor candidate availability and manage scheduling for temporary and locum assignments.
    • Proven experience in healthcare recruitment, specifically within locum, temporary, or agency staffing.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare staffing processes and compliance requirements.
    • Experience recruiting nurses, therapists, caregivers, or other healthcare professionals.
    • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and urgent placements simultaneously.
    • Excellent sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficient in ATS, CRM systems, and standard recruitment tools.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience working with shift-based staffing models.
    • Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and background check processes.
    • Previous agency recruitment experience within the healthcare sector.
