Residential Counselor - Foglia - Mettawa [Fri 2p-Sat 10a & Sun 9p-Mon 10a] (33hrs)

ACILA(Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is agroup home style living arrangementfor adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be 21 years of age
