We are currently hiring afull-time Resident Field Technician based out of ourTolono, IL location, serving Douglas, Edgar, Coles, Clark, Cumberland, Shelby counties, and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

As a Resident Field Technician, you’ll bring expertise directly to the customer—diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment to keep operations running.

• Performpreventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel equipment
• Travel daily tocustomer job sites within your assigned region
• Operate and maintain your service truck and tools
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
• Order parts andaccurately document service work for invoicing
• Ensure adherence tocompany, safety, and manufacturer standards

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in diesel equipment repair (hydraulics & electrical)
• Ability toread schematics and troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical skills
• Valid driver’s license andclean driving record
• Class A CDL (preferred)
• Technical training or certifications (preferred) 

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday |Typical hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays based on customer needs

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a hands-on, field-based role working around heavy equipment:

• Lift 50+ lbs, climb, bend, and work in various positions
• Work outdoors inchanging weather conditions
• Exposure to mechanical equipment and shop environments
• Occasional work at heights

• PPE provided, including safety glasses, gloves, and boots
