Staff Accountant - Healthcare Industry

We are seeking an experiencedStaff Accountant with a strong background in healthcare accounting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience ingeneral ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, accrual accounting, and financial reporting, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain thegeneral ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
• Performbalance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handleaccrual accounting and prepare month-end journal entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting reports.
• Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams regarding financial reporting and analysis.

-Proven experience as aStaff Accountant.

- Strong knowledge ofgeneral ledger, balance sheet reconciliation, and accrual accounting.

-Experience in thehealthcare industry is strongly preferred, including work with:

• Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
• Assisted Living Operators
• Home Health Agencies
• Healthcare Operators
