SEO Specialist

Remote Recruitment is hiring anSEO Specialist to improve organic search visibility for a UK-based digital business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll develop and execute SEO strategies that drive sustainable traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies aligned with search intent
• Perform technical SEO audits and work with developers to implement fixes
• Build and manage a high-quality backlink acquisition programme
• Monitor rankings and organic performance using SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools
• Produce monthly SEO reports with clear recommendations

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or in-house digital role
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
• Understanding of technical SEO including crawlability, schema, and Core Web Vitals
• Strong written English for content briefs and reporting
• Reliable internet and a dedicated home workspace

• Salary: R27,000 per month
• Full-time, permanent remote position
• Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
