$230.60 - $368.95Major Responsibilities:
- Responsibleforidentification,implementation, tracking and “course correction”ofNSL-specificProcessImprovementandQualityImprovementinitiatives (Note:there will, of course, beDivisional andMedicalGroup quality metrics/initiatives that complementNSL-specific metrics/initiative; see below)
- Working with Quality leadership,partners to developAdvocateHealthsystem-widestrategicinitiativesandobjectivesaroundqualityandpatientsafety,with accountability forqualityandclinicaleffectivenessprogramsensuring theyare implemented and functioning effectively
- WorkswithAdvocateHealth Division-BasedMedicalGroupleader,toensurethephysiciancompensationmodelsalignwiththegoalsandobjectivesoftheorganizationandifmodificationsarenecessary,providesinput inimplementingchanges; is an active member of the Physician Compensation Committee.
- Responsibleforbudgetdevelopment,implementation,monitoring,andachievementofbudgetgoals,
- Managesservice lineresourceutilization
- Develops physician and APP productivity expectations and manages individual physician/APP performance to expectations
- Responsibleforthedeployment,spreadandsustainabilityofnewdeliverymodels,practicelocationsand practiceconsolidations in collaboration with theDivision and Medical Group leadership with final decision authority at the Enterprise NSL level.
- Determines new market growth strategies/plans andestablished market expansion plan and drives execution of plans
- Develops physician/APP growth plans (i.e. annual provider growth plans) anddetermines providers of all types - affiliation/employed/faculty – are balanced to ensure all missions are supported and the highest quality/value care is delivered
- Collaborates with all the key stakeholders in delivery of the Advocate Health model of care for the SVC LINE within the Division (nursing, pharmacy, Advocate Core Lab, radiology,etc).
- Assistsintheprocessfornewpracticeacquisitions,developingnewmanagednetworkrelationshipsandtheassimilationofthesegroupsintoAdvocateHealth
- Responsibleforintegration,adoption,anddeploymentofAdvocateHealthREWIRE 2030 StrategieswithafocusonQuality&Service,andSystem ofSystemsofCare.
- Responsibleforadoption,deploymentandsustainabilityofallstrategicinitiatives
- Works to support to training programs aligned to the service line within the division (i.e. both physician andnon physician)
- Works, in support of the Vice Dean, to support clinical research endeavors within the division
- Responsibleforphysician andAPP satisfactionandmoralewithinthe service line
- Develop andmaintain good working relationship both with employed and aligned Physicians and APPs
- Identifiesanddevelopsfutureleadersamongthemedicalstaff,workingwiththemtodevelopskillsinclusiveof: effectivecommunication,understandingthe organization from an Enterprise andDivision perspective,anddevelopingrelationshipswithadministration.
- Identifiesandrecognizesphysicianswhogo‘above&beyond’tosupportexcellenceinquality,service,efficiency&theoverallcontinuum ofcare.
- OverseeDivision clinical care delivery leadership, including planning and day-to-day management
- Directs strategic hiring andAdvocateHealthphysicianmanpowerplanningexerciseto achieveorganizationalgoalsandoptimum useofclinicalresources
- Istheprimaryphysicianliaisonwithphysicianrecruiting, assuring onboarding, credentialling and other HR functions
- RepresentsAdvocate Health to thecommunityasappropriate
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- MD or DO Degree isrequired
- Board Certification in a clinical discipline.
Education Required:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 10 years of experience in leading and developing quality initiatives, improvements and programs to include, if necessary, appropriate metrics and benchmarks. Experience in or knowledge of healthcare services throughout the continuum of care.
