We are seeking an experiencedTax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. Responsibilities
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, LLCs, trusts, and individuals.
- Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients.
- Research federal, state, and local tax laws to support compliance and planning initiatives.
- Assist with tax planning, consulting engagements, and year-round advisory services.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop practical recommendations for clients.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather financial information, answer tax-related questions, and provide exceptional service.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and firm partners on complex tax and advisory engagements.
- Assist with special tax projects and consulting initiatives.
- Prepare organized workpapers and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality.
- Stay current on tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax.
- Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in ahybrid environment with periodic time in theAllentown, Pennsylvania office.
