Subject Matter Expert (Arbor)- Jeddah, KSA

We are looking for aSenior Arbor DDoS Security SME to support and operate existingArbor AED and AEM platforms protecting a major banking environment against variousDistributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks.

The ideal candidate should have stronghands-on experience with Arbor/NETSCOUT DDoS solutions, preferably within abanking or financial services environment, with strong network security and troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, monitor, and troubleshootArbor AED and AEM platforms.
• Provide SME-level support forDDoS detection, mitigation, and protection.
• Monitor DDoS events, traffic patterns, alerts, and mitigation activities.
• Analyze network traffic and investigate DDoS-related incidents.
• Troubleshoot complex network security and connectivity issues.
• Support the continuous availability and performance of the DDoS protection infrastructure.
• Work closely with network, security, SOC, and infrastructure teams to resolve security incidents.
• Perform configuration changes, policy tuning, and optimization of Arbor platforms.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis for DDoS attacks.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records.
• Provide technical guidance and SME support to the banking security/network teams.
• Support integration and troubleshooting across network security technologies such as firewalls, load balancers, and other security controls.

• Strong hands-on experience with Arbor AED and AEM / NETSCOUT DDoS solutions.
• Proven experience inDDoS detection, mitigation, and protection.
• Strong knowledge ofnetwork security and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network traffic and security incidents.
• Hands-on experience withArbor DDoS platforms in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of network security controls such asfirewalls, IPS, WAF, VPN, and load balancing.
• Experience using network troubleshooting tools such asWireshark, tcpdump, curl, nc, etc.

Preferred Experience

• Banking / Financial Services experience – highly preferred.
• Experience working as aresident engineer / SME for a bank or critical enterprise customer.
• Experience withCisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, or similar security technologies.
• Experience with network security automation or scripting is a plus.
