One of the rapidly growing functions within Micron India is theNon-Volatile Engineering (NVE) System Integration (Solution) Product Engineering team in Hyderabadwhich is responsible for the integration of new non-volatile products into various system solutions (SSD, UFS,uSD),end-to-endproduct challengesbeing solved for maximum value and streamlining of overall development effort,complexity, and risk. We enable parallel NAND and System development through feature optimization and innovative solutions,demonstrating technicalexpertiseon both sides.
Responsibilities:
System triage activities through failure analysis on both NAND Component and System-level toidentify sources of failure, drive issue-based taskforces toestablish solutions & unblock critical systemdevelopment.
Innovations in system triagemethodology and for cycle-time improvement
NAND Features applications in systems, supporting validation improvements during NANDdevelopment andfacilitate NAND testingmethodology towards meeting systemrequirements.
NAND vs. System performance sensitivity evaluations for early catch of issues andleft shift with effective andtimely validation countermeasures + RCA
Hands-on bench testing at the system, NAND package and at times NAND wafer level testingfor comprehensive issue debug
Qualifications:
Highly motivated and adaptable to our fast paced,dynamic, and rapidly changing work environment. Flexibility to work for extended hours asrequired.
Keen interest in NAND-system interaction and technical deep-dives; Prior relevant experience will be an added advantage.
Provide leadership in problem analysis and resolution at network level. Work with groups outside of your department toidentify and close technical gaps related to new product integration.
Ability to work with a variety of cultures and with multi-functionalteams.
Excellent data analysis, problem solving, and decision-makingskills.
Effective communication and presentation skills
Strong foundation of mixed-signal VLSI such as analog circuits and systems, digitallogic and RTL design.
Knowledge of Flash memory architecture and operationisrequired.
Knowledge of bench testing equipment (o-scope, logic analyzer,Nextest Magnum,etc) is aplus.
Programming/scripting skills (C/C++, Python, Perl, Verilog)is aplus.
Education:
Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines+2- 8years of experience
Course work in VLSI technology, analog/digital circuits,system design a plus
