What We Do

Responsible for hankding mortgage accounts to ensure all title resolution, contested, senior lien monitoring and non- monetary default activities follow all state and federal laws. Perform a variety of default loan servicing tasks within timelines and workflow processes on files. Processes are managed in accordance with established work rules, goals & objectives to improve timeline and attorney performance
Default Loan Servicing Specialists perform duties related to early-stage, late-stage, reporting, and litigation in the default loan servicing process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Experiencedteammembertomanagethehighriskportfolioassociatedwiththepositiontoensurecompliancewith regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversightofcounsel’slegalproceedingsinthejurisdictiontoensureappropriateactionistakeandallmilestonesaremet.
  • Servicemortgageaccountstoensureavarietyofforeclosure,andbankruptcy,andescalatedactivitiesareprocessedin compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency and companyguidelines.
  • Actasrepresentativetothecompanyinwitnesscapacityformediations,settlement,non-jurytrials,jurytrialsanddepositions.
  • Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure the foreclosure and bankruptcy are processed in compliance withallstateandfederallaws,whilemaintainingcompliancewithInvestor,Insurer,Agency,andcompanyguidelines.
  • Conductscomplete reviews of filesto ensure all defaulttime frames have beenmet.
  •   Managesdefaultproceedingsonassignedcasesbyinteractingandinstructingvariouspartiessuchasmortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, trustees, appraisers, and any other party involved with the default process.
  • Monitorsattorneyperformancebyreviewingallproceedings,recordsandtimeframesinadditiontoworkingallsystem/ database activities throughout the default process.
  • Auditaccountsforexpensecomplianceandensuresproperapplicationtosystemof record
  • Performrequiredresearchonanyloanwithquestionableitemssuchastheapplicationofpayments,propernotification, and any other situation that may arise
  •   Manageexceptionreportingusedaskeycontrolsforminimizingrisk.Trackstrendsandrecommendsprocessimprovements
  • Experiencedteammembertomanagethehighriskportfolioassociatedwiththepositiontoensurecompliancewith regulatory guidelines.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Knowledge and Skills/TechnologyUsed

  • High School diploma or equivalent, Paralegal Degree or Certificatepreferred
  • Collegepreferred
  • 3 + years of directly related experience such as Mortgage Litigation, Mortgage Servicing, Mortgage Title Resolution, legal and/or financial
  • Good verbal and written communicationskills
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict guidelines and procedures
  • GSE and Government experience preferred
  • MSP and LoanSphere experiencepreferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel andPowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs to include Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internetand
  • Microsoft Outlook experiencepreferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict guidelines andprocedures
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to effectively coach, motivate and lead teammembers

Candidates selected for employment will be required to successfully complete a background check and credit check as a condition of employment, where permitted by applicable law.

Pay Range: $30.91 - $41.20 Hourly, Remote

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
