Job Summary:
Leeward Renewable Energy is currently seeking an experienced SeniorFinancial Analyst (P3) toprovide information, analysis, financial modeling, and execution support for corporate financial planning, cash flow forecasting, investor reporting,and financial risk control. Essential Functions:
Builds,utilizes, andmaintains financial models forwind,solar, andenergy storageprojects to evaluate asset performance.
Analyzes project and company performance, explains key variances to the annual budget, andprovides reporting materials for company management, investors, and Board of Directors.
Coordinates input gathering andconsolidates the results for the annual budgeting and regular reforecasting processes.
Performs due diligence on modeling inputs andassumptions.
Conducts market researchto incorporate relevantinformationinto thefinancialmodels.
Performs Ad hoc analysis and reporting asrequired.
Additional duties asrequired.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics,or related academic field
Three (3) to Five (5) yearsof extensive experience in financial valuation &modeling; Preferably intherenewable energysector
Experience with corporate finance, budgeting, and reporting
Working knowledge of accounting
Advanced Excel skills (MACROs,VBA, Pivot Tables)
Familiarity with conventional/renewable energy is highly desirable.
Extensive market research capabilities aredesirable.
Familiarity with Finance and Accounting (Dynamics, Hyperion) and/or Business Intelligence (Power BI, Tableau) systems ispreferable.
Good team player with theability to work in a growing team environment.
Strong analytical, attention to detail, multitasking and problem resolution skills.
Self-starter with effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Please Note: This is an in-office role, requiring on site presence in our office a minimum of three days per week with hybrid flexibility of working remotely two days per week, subject to manager and policy approval. #LIHybrid
LRE considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. In compliance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act, the salary range for the Sr. Analyst, Project Finance is between $92,000 to $128,000 annually. Compensation is set within the range based on each candidate’s background, with the potential to grow as responsibilities and experience increase. This position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k)-retirement plan, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
