The Test Engineer in theHPM Business is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products used in critical patient monitoring systems. This role plays a key part in defining and executing test strategies, driving automation, and collaborating closely with development and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and scalable solutions in an agile environment.
Your role:
Develop, review, and execute comprehensivetest cases and test designs, ensuring full traceability to requirements.
Own thecompleteness, accuracy, and compliance of all test documentation in line with quality management systems.
Define and execute testing forfunctional, performance, reliability, and scalability aspects of the product.
Design and implementautomated test cases, striving to meet committed automation coverage goals.
Review test artifacts created by other team members to ensurequality, consistency, and compliance.
Adhere to and execute the definedverification and validation strategy for products and subsystems.
Performlog analysis and identify root causes to accelerate defect resolution.
Actively collaborate withdevelopment teams to enable early defect detection and faster resolution.
Participate in reviews of engineering deliverables such asrequirements, use cases, and risk mitigations.
Provide inputs fortest estimation, planning, resource identification, and risk management.
Supporttimely, high‑quality releases through close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
You're the right fit if:
5–10 years of experience in software testing, includingtest strategy, manual testing, and test automation.
Strong hands‑on experience inJava‑based test automation using Selenium.
Practical experience withBDD frameworks, including development and maintenance.
Expertise inweb services testing, includingREST and SOAP.
Strong understanding ofdefect management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
Experience working withCI/CD pipelines and continuous testing/integration/deployment practices.
Good understanding ofIT infrastructure, virtualization, and networking concepts.
Good to Have
Experience withAWS, JMeter, PostgreSQL, and AngularJS.
Familiarity withSAFe Agile methodology.
Exposure tocloud‑based testing strategies and modern test automation frameworks.
