Job Description

Your role:

  • Owndesign, developand test software components for patient monitoring within the interoperability and connectivity scope.This includes implementation ofa framework to support third party device integrationwith our patient monitors. 

  • Analyze software, functionalrequirements to design and develop high‑qualitysoftware. 

  • Write efficient, maintainable code inC++ for embedded Linuxsystems following best practices and design patterns. 

  • Implement unit andcomponent tests and develop automated test suites usingGoogleTest (GTest) and Gherkin‑based BDD 

  • Participate in an international Scrum team and engage in Scrum rituals, collaborating closely with device interoperability experts, software developers, and architects. 

  • Adopt AI-enabled development tools anddemonstrate measurable productivity improvements. 

  • Support software lifecycle management activities includingdocumentation,sustaining engineering,defect resolution, and platform evolution.  

  • Optimize application performance byidentifying and resolving bottlenecks in resource-constrained embedded Linux environments  


You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical field. 

  • 5+ yearexperiencein embedded Linux withhands-on withadvanced C++ (17/20/23). 

  • Good command of object-oriented programming, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.   

  • Good to have experience inInteroperability using HL7/FHIR/IEEE 11073 SDC in clinical environments. 

  • Experience with technical documentation, code reviews, and compliance with medical software development processes is a plus (e.g., IEC 62304).   

  • Experience withunit testing framework,Python,Gtest,Gherkin, andBehaviour Driven Development (BDD) forcomponent testing and automation. 

  • Communication protocols -TCP/UDP,HTTP/HTTPS,WebSockets,RS-232 protocol. 

  • Security-by-design:Threat modelling,TLS, certificate management,vulnerability management. 

  • Tooling: Git, ADO/GitHub, Visual Studio, VS Code,CMake, unit/integration testing, static/dynamic analysis. 

  • Nice to have:gRPC/Protobuf, MQTT, Python for tooling/test harnesses, exposure to FDA/EU MDR expectations. 


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
