Software Engineer - iOS

Devsinc is looking to hire a skilled Software Engineer – iOS to build scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade mobile applications. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance native iOS applications usingSwift, Objective-C, Foundation Framework, UIKit, and SwiftUI.

The ideal candidate hasat least 2 years of post-graduation professional experience in iOS development, with expertise in modern iOS architectures, RESTful APIs, performance optimization, and the complete application lifecycle, from development to App Store release.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance native iOS applications usingSwiftand Objective-C, delivering scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.
• Architect and implement robust iOS applications usingMVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, and the Coordinator Pattern, ensuring modularity, reusability, maintainability, and testability.
• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces usingSwiftUI, UIKit, Auto Layout, adaptive layouts, animations, custom UI components, and design systems for seamless experiences across iPhone and iPad.
• Design and integrate scalable networking layers by consumingRESTful APIs, handlingJSON serialization, OAuth/JWT authentication, pagination, error handling, retry mechanisms, and secure communication usingURLSession, Combine, or Swift Concurrency (async/await).
• Implement local persistence and offline capabilities usingCore Data, SQLite, UserDefaults, or similar frameworks, optimizingdata synchronization, caching, and state management.
• Develop advanced mobile features includingPush Notifications (APNs/FCM), Deep Linking, Universal Links, background tasks, location services, camera integration, Face ID/Touch ID, permissions handling, and Keychain storage.
• Optimize application performance by resolving issues related tomemory management, concurrency, startup time, rendering, battery usage, networking, and responsiveness usingInstruments, Xcode Profiler, and Debug Navigator.
• Writeunit and UI tests usingXCTest, contribute toCI/CD workflows, and improve application quality and release stability.
• Integratethird-party SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, payments, mapping, messaging, and other platform services while ensuring security and maintainability.
• Contribute toCI/CD pipelines, release management, code signing, provisioning profiles, TestFlight distributions, and App Store releases, following engineering best practices.

• Bachelor's degree inCS, SE, or a related field, witha minimum of 2 years of post-graduation professional experience in native iOS development.
• Strong proficiency inSwiftandObjective-C, including generics,ARC, concurrency, asynchronous programming, memory management, debugging, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience designing scalable iOS applications usingMVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, and the Coordinator Pattern, with strong knowledge ofSOLID principles, dependency injection, modular architecture, reusable components, and application lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience building responsive and reusable user interfaces usingSwiftUI andUIKit, including Auto Layout, adaptive layouts, custom UI components, animations, navigation, accessibility, reusable design systems, and support for iPhone and iPad.
• Experience integratingRESTful APIs usingURLSession, Combine, or Swift Concurrency, including JSON serialization,OAuth/JWT authentication, pagination, request/response lifecycle, retry mechanisms, and secure networking.
• Experience implementing local persistence and offline capabilities usingCore Data, SQLite, UserDefaults, caching strategies, data synchronization, and advanced iOS features such asPush Notifications (APNs), Deep Linking, Universal Links, background tasks, Face ID/Touch ID, location services, camera integration, permissions handling, and Keychain Services.
• Strong understanding ofmultithreading, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), Xcode Instruments, crash analysis, profiling, and application performance optimization.
• Proficiency withGit,Swift Package Manager (SPM) orCocoaPods, code reviews, branching strategies, Agile/Scrum workflows, and writingunit/UI tests using XCTest to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Experience withGraphQL,Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config), and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Jenkinsis a plus.
• Experience with Fastlane, RxSwift,cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and theApp Store release process (TestFlight, code signing, provisioning profiles, and release management)is a plus.
