Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivatedAutomotive Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
- Complete repair orders clearly and efficiently, documenting all work performed
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain productivity and efficiency goals set by the service department
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
- Communicate with service advisors regarding recommended repairs and timelines
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Stay up to date with manufacturer training and certifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of automotive technician experience, preferably in a franchised dealership environment.
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills across a variety of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake systems.
- ASE certifications and/or manufacturer-specific certifications are preferred; willingness to pursue additional training and certifications required.
- Ability to efficiently perform repairs while consistently meeting flat-rate productivity and quality standards.
- Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, repair software, and dealership service systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.
Compensation:
- $27.00 to $46.00 per flat rate hourly
- Income potential up to $130,000 +
Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday through Saturday availability
- Sundays off
