Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Urban Planner Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the development and implementation of strategic urban planning policies and integrated housing and real estate development initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the preparation and review ofstrategic urban plans, policies, and frameworks aligned with national and sectoral objectives.
Develop and managehousing and real estate development strategies, including land use optimization and supply enhancement initiatives.
Oversee the preparation ofregional, master, and local plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and planning standards.
Coordinate withgovernment entities, municipalities, and stakeholders to align development priorities and facilitate project delivery.
Conduct and reviewurban, socio-economic, and technical studies to support planning and investment decisions.
Contribute to the development and enhancement ofplanning codes, guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.
Monitor implementation of strategic plans and providerecommendations to improve efficiency, sustainability, and housing outcomes.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
In-depth knowledge of theSaudi Building Code, national housing programs, and regulatory frameworks.
12 years of experience
Strong capability todevelop policies and guidelines supporting housing supply and real estate development.
Experience working withgovernment entities, municipalities, and private developers.
Ability toalign planning initiatives with Vision 2030 objectives and national housing strategies.
Advanced skills indata analysis, feasibility studies, and market assessments for real estate projects.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience mentoring junior staff.
Ability to managemulti-stakeholder environments and drive results under tight timelines.
