Senior Product Development Design E/E Engineer

Design and develop chassis components for buses, ensuring compliance with applicable local and international regulations, with the objective of guaranteeing functionality, safety, and fulfillment of customer requirements.

ProductDesign

  • Design,adapt,anddocumentvehiclesystemsandcomponentsaccordingtoprojectrequirements.
  • Developengineeringsolutionsthatmeetquality,performance,safety,andcostobjectives.

    ProductSupport&ContinuousImprovement

    • Analyzeandresolveissuesidentifiedduringproductionandfieldoperation.
    • Supportcontinuousproductimprovementinitiativesbyworkingcloselywithcross-functionalteams.

    Compliance

    • Alwaysactinaccordancewithapplicablelocalandinternationalregulations,includingtheForeignCorruptPracticesAct(FCPA),theDaimlerTruckCodeofConduct,andallcompanypoliciesandprocedures.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor'sdegreeinMechanicalEngineering,ElectronicEngineering,IndustrialEngineering,orarelatedfield.

    Experience

    • Minimum3yearsofexperienceintheautomotiveindustry.
    • PreviousexperienceinProductEngineering,ProductDevelopment,DesignEngineering,ManufacturingEngineering,orProductValidation.

    Candidateshavedemonstrableexperienceinautomotiveelectricalandelectronicsystems,including

    • Development,design,andintegrationofautomotivewiringharnesses.
    • Knowledgeofvehicleelectrical/electronicarchitectures.
    • UnderstandingofElectronicControlUnits(ECUs)andtheirinteractionwithinthevehicle.
    • BasictointermediateknowledgeofSoftwareFunctions(SF),Hardware(HW),andelectronicsystemparameterization.
    • Abilitytointerpretelectricaldiagrams,signals,andcommunicationbetweenelectronicmodules.
