PositionSummary

 Establish a quality centre of excellence, develop organisational strategies, processes, goals, and metrics to drive measurable improvements in quality processes. Oversee the consistency of quality processes. Manage and address potential product and safety investigations through investigation and corrective action. 

KeyAreasofResponsibility

  • Manage day-to-day quality processes to ensure issues are appropriatelyevaluated 

  • Establish annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Make necessary changes withappropriate managementinvolvement 

  • Communicate and collaborate with Quality Assurance, R&D, Service, Global Supply, Finance, Sales, and Marketing departments to ensure corporate goals and strategies aremet 

  • Develop teams to ensuretimely resolution ofinprocess and supplier product technical issues to avoid disruption and ensure continuity ofsupply  

  • Serve asa site leader for GQO qualityprocesses 

  • Provide guidance, recommendations, and implementation plans for adherence to new regulatory requirements orexpectations 

  • Establish standard process to ensureappropriate resolution and management of the responsible taskowner 

  • Chair meetingsrequired to drive closure of qualityissues 

  • Manage and provide updates for quality metrics. Implementappropriateenhancements 

  • Represent quality processes during internal and externalaudits 

  • Define targets, KPIs, performanceobjectives, etc. for individuals within functional role, and manage direct reports to meet or exceed thesetargets 

  • Recruit,select, and on-board toptalent 

  • Develop talent within team to increase performance. Actively address performance issues on team 

  • Maintaina high level of team engagement 

QualificationsKnowledgeSkills  

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of regulatory requirements, including ISO, FDA, andInternationalrequirements 

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of medical device productlines 

  • Demonstrated written, verbal, listening, communication, andteam-building skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with and lead cross-functionalteams 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projectworkloads 

  • Demonstrated experience withtrending and analysisreporting 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adverse event reporting, complaint investigation, CAPA,and corrective action processes 

  • Demonstrated leadershipskills 

  • Demonstrated process improvement and managementskills 

  • Experience with recruiting, peopledevelopment 

  • Influence across theorganization

Preferred:  

  • BS in a science, engineering or related Advanced degreepreferred 

  • Minimum of10years experience, 7 yearsof supervisory experiencepreferred 

  • Masters Degree or equivalent preferred 

  • Experience working in a regulatedenvironment 

  • Good understanding of manufacturing process technologies, and the abilityto understand complexprocesses 

  • Experience with delivering results through 6 sigma and leanmethods 

  • Strong analytical ability, relevant ERP knowledge (preferably SAP, Oracle orJDEdwards)and experience and strong PC skills (MS Excel,Access, etc.,)

    Ireland Pay Ranges:

    • Ireland: €88,000 - €146,000 EUR Annual
