Senior Java Developer

We are looking for aSenior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions, while leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Use Claude Code (or similar agentic AI coding tool) daily for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and code explanation
• Provide clear project context - CLAUDE.md, relevant files, constraints - and iterate multi-turn to obtain usable output
• Review and verify AI-generated code, recognize hallucinations, and validate against requirements and existing patterns
• Understand business context and user needs to shape solution design
• Work independently on well-defined tasks with strong attention to code quality
• Apply clean code principles and best practices throughout development
• Collaborate as part of a team, incorporate feedback constructively, and communicate effectively
• Implement and maintain microservices and web services within the broader system architecture
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies within a Scrum/Kanban team

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional Java development experience
• Proficiency in the Spring framework (Core, MVC, Boot)
• Understanding of microservices architecture fundamentals
• Familiarity with messaging/event streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs preferred)
• Skills in implementing WebServices (REST/SOAP)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum/Kanban team
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous learning

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure cloud or other cloud providers
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
