We are seeking an experiencedSenior IT Project Manager – Finance to lead multiple cross-functional technology projects supporting finance organizations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing3–5 concurrent projects, with ownership of scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, vendors, and delivery.
This role requires strong knowledge offinance processes and technology, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive projects from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage3–5 concurrent IT projects from planning through completion.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and milestones.
Manage project financials, includingbudgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and ROI analysis.
Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal and external resources.
Managescope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Manage relationships withfinance, IT, business stakeholders, senior leadership, and third-party vendors.
Provide regular project status, risk, budget, and delivery updates to leadership.
Manage vendor activities, contractual deliverables, and RFI/RFP processes.
Ensure projects follow establishedPMO and project lifecycle methodologies.
Track project metrics, document lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.
Mandatory Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
5+ years of Project Management experience and 8+ years of related IT or business experience.
Proven experience managingmultiple concurrent projects with complex dependencies.
Strong experience withbudgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost management.
Experience leading cross-functional teamswithout direct reporting authority.
Strong understanding offinance processes, systems, and technology.
Experience with integrations betweenfinance systems and enterprise platforms.
Strongrisk, issue, dependency, and change management experience.
Expert-levelvendor management experience.
Excellent communication skills with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, make decisions, and appropriately escalate issues.
Preferred Experience
Experience leading large-scaleFinance Technology implementations.
Hands-on experience withOracle EBS Financials/Procurement, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
Experience working in regulated environments involvingSOX, GDPR, or similar requirements.
Experience managing change and developing contingency plans for critical finance systems.
CAPM, PMP, or similar project management certification.
Experience driving process improvement and applying lessons learned.
Work Environment
Remote position for now; the work arrangement may be subject to change based on business needs.
Must be available to workEastern Standard Time (EST) hours regardless of location.
Requires a professional home-office setup suitable for extended stationary, camera-on work, including HD webcam, hardwired high-speed internet, and stationary workstation.
ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL(Will be evaluated).
