Senior Finance Professional (Multiple Opportunities)

We are recruiting experiencedFinance Professionals for a range of client opportunities acrossGermany. This consolidated role is designed to attract strong finance talent across multiple disciplines, includingFinancial Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Financial Control.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to step intosenior-level responsibility and progress towardfinance leadership or head-of-finance roles, particularly within international or fast-growing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on role focus and business structure and may include:

• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting
• Oversight of general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close
• Supporting management with commercial and strategic financial insights
• Ensuring compliance withIFRS and German GAAP (HGB)
• Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
• Improving financial processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy
• Mentoring or managing junior finance and accounting staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPA, ACCA, CIMA, Steuerberater, or equivalent qualification preferred (role-dependent)
• 5–10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong knowledge ofIFRS and/or HGB
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Workday, etc.)
• Strong communication skills; ability to work with senior stakeholders
• Leadership capability and readiness for increased responsibility
