As part of the group's broader digital transformation, we operate through platforms like Zid and Salla, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. In light of this growth, we are expanding our finance team to support the brand’s continued success and ensure strong financial performance and transparency.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and support the growing needs of our e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in online accounting systems and who understands the financial workflows of digital retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze order profitability and product-level margins based on data from online platforms.
• Review supplier invoices and e-invoices issued through the online store.
• Track and validate cost of goods sold (COGS) using inventory data from Zid and Salla.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations to produce financial performance reports and business insights.
• Reconcile payment gateway reports (e.g., Tabby, Tamara, credit cards, bank transfers) with accounting records.
• Ensure alignment between warehouse stock movement and financial reporting.

• Minimum of 2years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a company that operates ane-commerce store ordigital retail business.
• Prior exposure toonline platforms such asZid,Salla,Shopify, orWooCommerce is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting systems likeDaftra,Odoo, orQuickBooks with proven ability toreconcile online orders,returns, andshipping transactions.
• Strong understanding oforder fulfillment cycles,payment gateways (e.g.,Tabby,Tamara,Mada), andCOD accounting treatment.
• Solid grasp ofinventory accounting,COGS tracking, andrevenue recognition principles in a digital commerce context.
• Working knowledge ofSaudi e-invoicing (فاتورة) regulations,ZATCA VAT compliance, and dealing withPOS systems.
• Comfortable usingtask management tools likeClickUp,Asana, orNotion for documenting workflows and reporting.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to extractactionable financial insights frome-commerce dashboards andERP integrations.
• Bonus: Experience with industries such asperfumes,cosmetics,furniture, orcarpets is a plus.
