Position Overview:


TheSales Administratorplays a critical operational role in enabling AMS's commercial growth. This individual will pioneer the infrastructure of our sales process — from CRM integrity and pipeline reporting to proposal coordination and contract administration — ensuring that our sales team operates with precision and efficiency. The right candidate brings deep experience in B2B sales operations, exceptional organizational rigor, and the ability to work fluently within a specialized healthcare environment.

At AMS, the Sales Administrator isn't a support function — it's an operational force multiplier. You will work directly with senior sales leadership and have visibility into enterprise-level deals with health plans, TPAs, and employer groups. Your precision and process ownership directly impacts revenue outcomes.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CRM data integrity (Zoho), ensuring accurate pipeline stage tracking, activity logging, and opportunity management across the sales team
  • Generate and distribute weekly sales performance reports, pipeline analyses, and forecasting summaries for leadership review
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and client-facing presentations in alignment with AMS brand and messaging standards.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal on executing and tracking sales contracts.
  • Ensure all sales materials are current, version-controlled, and accessible to the team.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between Sales, Finance, and Client Success to ensure seamless handoffs and deal execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce administrative friction and accelerate deal velocity.


Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales operations or sales administration role, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or B2B services
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CRM platforms (Zoho preferred); experience building reports and dashboards
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office/365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with complex, multi-stakeholder deal structures
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry terminology, payer operations, or managed care is a meaningful advantage
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills aligned with executive-level audience standards
  • Familiarity with information security regulations, data protection laws, and auditing frameworks such as HITRUST and HIPAA a plus


Education, Experience, and Licensing - Preferred:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or healthcare-related field preferred.

Experience: At least 2-3 years’ experience in sales or business development is preferred. Previous insurance or healthcare experience is a huge plus, particularly in the health plan, hospital, self-funded insurance, or payment integrity markets.

Suggested Pay Range

  • $80,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience and education
  • 3 weeks’ vacation
