Residential Carpenter

We are currently hiring an experiencedCarpenter with a strong background inhigh-end residential construction. This role is ideal for a technically skilled tradesperson comfortable performing bothrough framing and finish carpentry on custom homes and detailed residential projects.

The right candidate will be confident installing windows and doors, framing openings properly (including king/jack studs), and executing high-quality finish installations such as casing, trim, and cabinetry.

Responsibilities

• Performrough framing including layout and framing ofwindow and door openings
• Installwindows, exterior doors, and interior doors
• Frame structural components includingking studs, jack studs, headers, and blocking
• Installbaseboard, casing, crown molding, paneling, and trim packages
• Assist with or completecabinet and siding installation
• Interpret and build fromblueprints and construction drawings
• Maintain high workmanship standards consistent withcustom residential construction
• Work independently or with a crew while maintaining jobsite productivity and safety

Minimum3+ years of high-end residential carpentry experience

3–5+ years finish carpentry experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge ofwindow and door framing and installation

Experience installing:

• Casing
• Baseboard
• Crown molding
• Paneling
• Doors and windows
• Siding
• Cabinets
• Stair installation experience is a plus
• Ability toread and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Must supply afull complement of carpentry tools, including specialty tools
• Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required

Salary: $40-$50/hour DOE
