Job Summary
We are looking for an experiencedReliability & Operational Lead to ensure the stability, performance, and security of ourIdea to Market (I2M) application landscape, with a strong focus onTeamcenter and R&D tooling.
In this role, you own theend-to-end operational performance of business-critical PLM and engineering applications in a global environment. You lead L1.5/L2/L3 support teams, driveincident and problem management excellence, and ensure continuous improvement of system reliability and user experience.
You act as theprimary operational SPOC across business, engineering, and IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with business priorities. You also play a key role indriving automation, security compliance, and operational maturity, contributing directly to engineering productivity and faster time-to-market.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Ownend-to-end reliability, availability, and performance of Teamcenter and the broader R&D application landscape
- LeadL1.5/L2/L3 support operations, acting as the primary escalation point
- Driveincident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL standards and SLAs
- Leadroot cause analysis (RCA) and ensure implementation of sustainable fixes
- Define and executecontinuous improvement and automation initiatives (monitoring, scripting, preventive maintenance)
- Coordinatereleases, upgrades, patches, and deployments with internal teams and external suppliers
- Govern and managesupport partners / suppliers (e.g., AMS providers) on performance and delivery
- Ensuresecurity compliance and drive remediation actions in alignment with corporate policies
- Oversee Teamcenter configuration (BMIDE, workflows, ACLs, preferences) and core components (AWC, FMS, Dispatcher, indexing)
- Support and optimize integrations withCAD (NX, Solid Edge, SolidWorks), ECAD, and ERP (SAP)
- Maintain and improveoperational documentation (runbooks, SOPs, CMDB)
- Act asSPOC for stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Security, and IT
- Lead and mentor support engineers, ensuring consistency, quality, and knowledge growth
Required Experiences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in application support / operations, with at least3–5 years in a leading role
- Strong hands-on experience withSiemens Teamcenter administration and support
- Proven experience inITIL-based service management (incident, problem, change)
- Experience managingcomplex application landscapes and integrations (PLM, CAD, ERP)
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Experience working withglobal teams and external suppliers
